In Loving Memory…

It is with a great deal of sadness and a whole lot of love, that we say goodbye to our dear friend, colleague, partner-in-crime and inspiration, Gerald “Spike” Peachey.

Spike was the reason we started ACES, and a driving force behind the constant push for change in health care. His greatest wish was that every individual who needs health care support be treated with respect and dignity, no matter their background, history, lifestyle or choices.

Spike loved talking to students, sharing his story, and helping those who work in health care better understand how to be supportive of all members of society. He was one of the most generous, kind-hearted, gentlepeople you could meet and his empathy for the suffering of others was unmatchable. We will miss him terribly.

We are committed to keeping Spike’s memory, his legacy and his amazing work alive through ACES. He will never be forgotten.
