The Association for the Collaboration to End Stigma (ACES) provides programs and opportunities to empower those who face discrimination when accessing healthcare.
Our Anti-Stigma Workshop currently focuses on Vancouver’s Downtown East Side (DTES) and features some of the leading voices of individuals who live and work within this unique community. Their experiences of healthcare stigma and discrimination will stick with you long after the workshop is over and challenge you to provide better care for people who use drugs. They will also share with you the best side of humanity – the programs and service that are making a real difference in supporting the DTES Community.
Click on the button below to schedule a free workshop with your group. We welcome all people who have a desire and interest in learning. In this time of COVID-19, physical tours of the DTES will be limited, but we welcome the opportunity to provide online workshops and interactive sessions.
